I used rich navy and gold fabrics, to bring a touch of elegance to this design.  Hand embroidered lighthouse blocks are set on the diagonal and framed by pieced blocks.  Additional pieced blocks are positioned at the corners of the final border. The completed quilt measures 76 x 93.  Six different lighthouse embroidery designs are included: Cape Hatteras, Cape Lookout, Portland Head, Old Point Comfort, Saint Simon's, and Buffalo Main.
