Welcome to my Primrose Lane Website and Online Store!
Primrose Lane has been in existence since 1993. I began my business as a doll clothing designer, then expanded to infant and children's wear. In 2009, I returned to my first love - quilting - and have been designing quilt patterns ever since. Because my doll and children's clothing patterns incorporated a lot of smocking, heirloom sewing, embroidery, and applique, it is only natural that my quilt patterns also include handsewn details. My designs run the gamut from easy-to-piece geometrics that are completely machine sewn, to lovingly hand embroidered wall and bed quilts. As a designer, my goal is to make patterns that are easy to sew with instructions that are EASY TO FOLLOW. All the patterns are fully illustrated.
I hope you enjoy using my patterns as much as I have enjoyed designing them!
In addition to my patterns, I also have machine embroidery designs available on CD's or as Digital Downloads. I am also an artist, quilt instructor, and public speaker. I have designed several custom fabrics for quilt guilds, and have spoken at guilds on the subject of Redwork. Please contact me if you are interested in a custom fabric design or if you would like me to come speak at your guild or quilt shop.
